Open to middle school boys in the 6th, 7th, & 8th grades, the South Charlotte Cardinals will field at least two teams that will practice 3-4 days a week (see schedule below), then play games versus other area middle school teams from Charlotte and surrounding areas. The season starts on Sunday, February 6, 2022,. After the first two weeks of practice, to ensure adequate playing time, we separate the boys into two teams (Cardinals 8/7 RED & Cardinals 7/6 WHITE).
The South Charlotte Cardinals have two paid professional coaches per team.
NOTE ON 6th GRADERS
While the Cardinals middle school is open to all current sixth graders, regardless of experience. The Cardinals start two weeks earlier than our youth league – after the first two weeks, any 6th grade player who does not demonstrate the physical size/maturity and skill set required to play middle school lacrosse will be moved to our youth league to complete the spring season. No refunds or credits are issued for the cost difference in these programs.

| PRACTICE/GAME SCHEDULE |
Both teams will practice Monday, Tuesday, Thursday evenings, then play games on Saturday mornings. Practices will be from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. |

Due to the anticipated number of students wishing to participate, registration forms will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that schedule and field location subject to change due to availability and final registrations. Also, while we will make every attempt to reschedule practices & games that are canceled due to inclement weather, we can not guarantee that canceled practices or games will be rescheduled.
