In partnership with the Justice Theater Project, the Emily K Center hosts a two week drama camp each summer. Open to rising third through ninth graders (Fall of 2024), campers will work with professional theater instructors and study acting, stage movement, dance, and production. At the end of the camp, students stage a full production of Matilda, Jr. for family and friends. 2024 Drama Camp Dates July 29th - August 9th, 2024 All sessions run Monday – Friday, 8:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Evening performances: August 8th at 6pm and August 9th at 4pm Registration Fee: $550 A limited need-based scholarships of up to 50% are available. For Drama Camp Participants Only Thanks to generous supporters, the Emily K Center is able to provide a limited number of partial scholarships for our camps. To apply for a scholarship, please complete the entire scholarship portion of the online registration. Additional information may be requested by the scholarship committee. All scholarship decisions will be made and applicants will be informed within two weeks. Scholarships are only granted for up to 50% of the cost of camp. If you are granted a partial scholarship, the remaining balance must be paid on or prior to June 26, 2023 to ensure your acceptance in the camp.
