An introduction to basics theory of rocket flight. Campers will safely build and launch two non-motorized model rockets.
This camp is being conducted by Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and it is a non-profit auxiliary of the US Air Force. That said, this course has nothing to do with the US Air Force or the military. One of the CAP missions is Aerospace Education (with includes STEM). AEOs are supposed to share the fun and knowledge of Aerospace with the community (of all ages). Conducting this course will help strike an interest in young people for STEM and Aerospace in particular.
