We have received an overwhelming amount of interest in the NMSC/CASL adidas College Combine Camp and we remain excited about the excellent opportunity for the players in attendance at our rescheduled date of April 25. We understand there are many questions about the new date – so please refer to the following FAQ’s for information about the event.
What are the details for the rescheduled date?
The 2010 NMSC/CASL adidas College Combine Camp has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 25th, 2010 as a single day event to be held at Richard Barry Park in Huntersville, NC. An exact schedule for the Combine will be posted shortly; however, the event will still include at minimum:
- Interaction and visibility among college coaches
- Information and Resource Booklet on Recruiting Process and other soccer related topics
- Two long sleeve adidas t-shirts with identification numbers
- Inclusion in College Combine Camp Profile Book
- Two 90 minute Match Scenario sessions
What if I [my son] was registered for the original date but cannot attend on April 25?
Players registered for the original event who cannot attend the rescheduled date on April 25 will receive a partial refund or credit towards attendance at the 2011 event. Participants MUST contact the NMSC office at tournament@northmecksoccer.org on or before Monday, March 8 if they cannot attend the new date and wish to receive a refund or credit.
What if I [my son] was not registered for the original date but want[s] to attend on April 25?
The Boys College Combine Camp format is designed to provide an environment with significant exposure to college staff for all the players in attendance – and therefore we do have a capacity number of players that we can accommodate. Registration for the event will re-open on Monday, March 8 once we have determined how many originally registered players cannot attend – and therefore, how much space we have for additional players. We will accept requests to be placed on a waiting list in advance of that date – and inclusion in the combine will be on a first come/first serve basis.
What about the college coaches attending – can you confirm the list?
We are in the process of verifying the list of college staff right now. Confirming a new date with their recruiting calendars for the spring can take some time – but we have commitments coming in every day. We anticipate a similar list to the one originally published, likely with some new inclusions as well. We will begin publishing the schools committed to attend shortly and update the list as we get closer to the event.
